Redhawk excellence honored at 2024 Senior Athletic Awards
The Central Square School District held its 2024 Senior Athletic Awards in early June, honoring more than a dozen outgoing seniors for years of dedication on and off the field.
In addition to triumphs on the field, student athletes were noted for their strong character, leadership traits, community involvement and work in the classroom during the ceremony, held in Paul V. Moore High School’s cafeteria on Thursday, June 6.
CSSD Director of Health, Physical Education & Athletics Jamie Grimshaw opened the ceremony by welcoming the gathered crowd of families, mentors and friends. He congratulated the student-athletes on outstanding careers and years of dedication to their Redhawk sports programs.
Bradon Wolfe and Natalie Bush were presented with Central Square’s Most Outstanding Athlete Awards, the final award given out. Wolfe and Natalee Crandall were honored at the district’s Section III Scholar Athletes.
Longtime district coaches Kevin Brazell (varsity girls basketball) and Dale Greabell (varsity boys and girls golf) were recognized for their years of service to Redhawk athletics as they are set to retire.

Academic Athlete: Gabrielle Basile, Blake Lucas
Most Competitive: Emerson Widowski, Austin Melvin
Sportsmanship: Addison Kelly, Ciena Ferguson, Max Peters
Coaches Awards: Lauren McCorry, Melayna Miller, Anthony Miga, Owen Callahan, Samuel Yonkers, Aidan Howard.
Outstanding Athlete: Natalie Bush, Bradon Wolfe
