B Day
DECA: DECA Region 9 Competition begins today! All members taking the Business Management & Administration Exam and the Business Administration Core Exam should arrive in Mrs. Dristle’s room (2220) immediately after school today, Monday, December 1st. Please arrive on time, ready to go, with a fully charged Chromebook. Do your best, stay focused, and good luck!
Psychology Class: Mrs. Vecchio’s Psychology classes are collecting donations of birthday cake supplies for our district’s Backpack Program! We want every child in our community to have the chance to celebrate their birthday, and we’d love your support in spreading the word and contributing, if you are able. Suggested items include: boxed cake mix, canned frosting, disposable cake pans, birthday candles, and sprinkles. If you are able to donate, please bring supplies to room 2204. Thanks!
Polar Plunge: Attention students and staff – it’s that time of the year again. For the 3rd year in a row, Central Square will have an official team in the Oneida Shores Polar Plunge! The Plunge will be held on December 7th, and all proceeds go to NYS Special Olympics to support students in our district. Last year, we were the school district that raised the most money and won the Cool School Challenge. We want to defend our title, and raise even more money this year. Check your Class Canvas page or stop by room 1030 to see Mr. Kline.
Career Center:
ASVAB
We will be administering the ASVAB exam in the Career Center on Monday, December 8th. There will be two sessions, one at 8:00 a.m. and one at noon. This is used for career exploration, as well as Military entrance, and is given to students in grades 10 through 12. If you are looking to enter any branch of the Military after high school, it is highly recommended to take the ASVAB as early as possible.
