       D Day

       

      DECA:  The DECA meeting has been rescheduled to today, Tuesday, January 21st.  We apologize for the changes.  It is mandatory for all members to attend, especially those going to States.  The meeting will be at 3:00 p.m. in the Large Lecture Hall.

      Dungeons & Dragons Club:  Dungeons & Dragons Club will meet today in the Large Lecture Hall after school.  Esports students should report to the Large Lecture Hall after school today as well, instead of the Library.  Further instructions will be given there.

      New Vision Informational meeting:  Juniors interested in New Vision programs are reminded to attend the informational meeting in the 2nd floor Conference room on Tuesday, January 28th during Advisement.  If you have any questions about the application process or career options available through New Vision, this is your opportunity to learn more about the programs.

      Art Department:  Any student interested in learning how to use gelli plates for printmaking, please sign up with an Art Teacher.  We will be meeting on Monday, January 27th, after school, in room 1029 with Mrs. Staats.  You will take the 5:30 p.m. bus home.  Spots are limited, and available on a first come, first served basis.

      Career Center:

      The ASVAB test has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 5th.  The exam will still be given at 8:30 a.m. and noon.  We use this test for career exploration for students in 10th through 12th grade based on skills instead of interest.  The ASVAB is also used as a military entrance exam, so if you plan to enlist in any branch of the military, it is good to start taking this for practice as early as possible.  Please use the Google form or stop by the Career Center to register.
