      D Day

       

      Youth Alive:  Looking for a place to grow in your faith, ask questions, build community and relationships?  Come check out Youth Alive, our Christian Faith Club.  We meet tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th, after school in room 2210.

      Psychology Class:  Mrs. Vecchio’s Psychology classes are collecting donations of birthday cake supplies for our district’s Backpack Program!  We want every child in our community to have the chance to celebrate their birthday, and we’d love your support in spreading the word and contributing, if you are able.  Suggested items include:  boxed cake mix, canned frosting, disposable cake pans, birthday candles, and sprinkles.  If you are able to donate, please bring supplies to room 2204.  Thanks!

      DECA News:  Any member interested in attending the Region 9 Competition, permission slips are due by tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th.  They CANNOT be turned in after that date – no exceptions!

      If you are interested in purchasing a PVM DECA t-shirt, fill out the order form on our PVM CS DECA Instagram page and bring your payment to Mrs. Dristle in room 2220 no later than tomorrow, Tuesday, November 25th. 

      DECA Testing Week is December 1st through December 5th.  Please be prepared by using DECA Plus.  This is an important opportunity to show what you’ve learned and advance in your DECA event.  Make sure you arrive on time, are well rested, and are ready to do your best.

      Polar Plunge:  Attention students and staff – it’s that time of the year again.  For the 3rd year in a row, Central Square will have an official team in the Oneida Shores Polar Plunge!  The Plunge will be held on December 7th, and all proceeds go to NYS Special Olympics to support students in our district.  Last year, we were the school district that raised the most money and won the Cool School Challenge.  We want to defend our title, and raise even more money this year.  Check your Class Canvas page or stop by room 1030 and see Mr. Kline.

      Career Center:

      ASVAB

      We will be administering the ASVAB exam in the Career Center on Monday, December 8th.  There will be two sessions, one at 8:00 a.m. and one at noon.  This is used for career exploration, as well as a Military entrance, and is given to students in grades 10 through 12.  If you are looking to enter any branch of the Military after high school, it is highly recommended to take the ASVAB as early as possible.
