Drama Club: Tonight, Friday, November 7th and tomorrow, Saturday, November 8th at 7:00 p.m. are your last chances to witness history being made as aliens (maybe) invade New Jersey (maybe), as the Drama Club finishes it’s Fall production of “The War of the Worlds”. Was the panic that shook the nation the fault of the writers? The producers? The listeners? And, was that panic justified? You be the judge and enjoy the acting, music, and sound effects of an old-fashioned radio show. Tickets are $5.00 at the door.
Yearbook: Attention Seniors – check your school email for important information about Senior Favorites, and the Senior Portrait proof from Yearbook. Responses are due no later than Wednesday, November 12th.
Boys’ & Girls’ Indoor Track and Field: Do you want to better yourself athletically, develop speed, strength, and endurance? If so, join the Boys’ & Girls’ Indoor Track and Field team. Sign-ups are now open on Family ID. Sign up now to be eligible on the first day of practice on November 17th. If you have any questions, please see Coach Wasacz in room 1180. Open Weight Room sessions for Indoor Track and Field athletes will start on November 12th, after school, from 3:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. To attend, you must have your own transportation home.
Varsity Cheerleading: There will be Open Gym on November 12th and 13th from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at CSI for anyone interested in trying out for the team. Come out to meet the Coach and get ready for our Winter season. No experience is needed. We look forward to seeing both new and returning faces for a great season!
Class of 2029: Attention Freshmen – we are selling yummy fruit and cream pies from Geddes Bakery. The pies will be here before Thanksgiving, and are a big hit this time of year. Sell to your family and friends. All orders and money are due to Ms. Blakes in room G008 or Mrs. Hawn in room G006 by Thursday, November 13th.
The Change: Please donate anything you can spare! The Change is collecting all kinds of toiletry items and more to donate to the Samaritan Center. We will be collecting until December 5th. The full list of items can be found on any of the flyers posted around the building. Donations can be brought to room 1006 at the end of the English hallway. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Seiter or Bri Hales.
Polar Plunge: Attention students and staff – it’s that time of the year again. For the 3rd year in a row, Central Square will have an official team in the Oneida Shores Polar Plunge! The Plunge will be held on December 7th, and all proceeds go to NYS Special Olympics to support students in our district. Last year, we were the school district that raised the most money and won the Cool School Challenge. We want to defend our title, and raise even more money this year. Check your Class Canvas page or stop by room 1030 and see Mr. Kline.
