      B Day

       

      Class of 2029:  Attention Freshmen - by now, you should have your Ma & Pa Popcorn fundraiser.  This is one of several fundraisers that will help fund events for your class.  All orders and money are due by Wednesday, October 29th, and can be turned in to Ms. Blakes in room G008 or Mrs. Hawn in room G006.

      Rifle Team:  The Redhawk Rifle Team will hold an Open House for anyone interested in joining the team for the Winter sports season.  The Open House will be held on Thursday, October 23rd from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.  You are welcome to stop by room 100 on the lower level of Millard Hawk Elementary during those hours.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Tennant.

      National Honor Society:  Current and newly accepted National Honor Society members – there will be an important meeting on Thursday, October 23rd, after school, in the Cafeteria

      Drama Club:  The Drama Club is busy preparing the radio classic, “The War of the Worlds!” for its Fall production.  This play within a play describes the lien invasion of New Jersey in 1938 and its aftermath (both real and imagined!).  Come see how the country reacted to this “hoax” on November 5th at 4:00 p.m. or November 6th or 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.  Tickets are $5.00 at the door.

      Youth Alive:  Youth Alive will be meeting today, Tuesday, October 21st in room 2210 after-school.  All are welcome, whether you are strong in your faith, exploring, or just curious.  Bring a friend!

      Polar Plunge:  Attention students and staff – it’s that time of the year again.  For the 3rd year in a row, Central Square will have an official team in the Oneida Shores Polar Plunge!  The Plunge will be held on December 7th, and all proceeds go to NYS Special Olympics to support students in our district.  Last year, we were the school district that raised the most money and won the Cool School Challenge.  We want to defend our title, and raise even more money this year.  Check your Class Canvas page or stop by room 1030 and see Mr. Kline.

      Yearbook:  Underclassmen picture retakes are on Thursday, October 30th during 2nd & 3rd blocks only.  It is your responsibility to go be photographed.  Email yearbook@cssdapps.org for more information.

        • Open to Juniors and Seniors to tour the campus & see what OCC has to offer.
