The Central Square Middle School Jazz Ensemble performed at the New Hartford Jazz Festival on March 1, kicking off Music In Our Schools month with a gold rating from both judges.

Directed by Mr. Keller Shelton, the group’s soloists also received recognition for their excellent performances.

Among the opportunities to see students perform this month include:

-March 7: 5th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, HS Wind Ensemble, PVM gym, 7 p.m.
-March 9: Home Drumline Show
-March 25: 6-7th Grade Band’s Concert  
-March 27: 6-12th Grade Choral Concert
