Students in kindergarten through fifth grade took part in Brewerton Elementary School's annual Walk-A-Thon on Friday, Oct. 13.

First, students in grades 3-5 walked for about 30 minutes following a warmup, followed by grades K-2.

Smiles were abundant throughout the event, but a noticeable roar was heard when Otto, the mascot for Syracuse University Athletics, came out and surprised each group before walking with each during the healthy endeavor.
