NOTICE! Students who have testing accommodations on an IEP or 504:
You MUST apply to receive accommodations for PSAT's, SAT's, and ACT's. Contact your School Counselor or Case Manager with any questions! Please verify deadlines on CollegeBoard/ACT Websites, below.
PSAT/SAT/ACT Exam Information:
-
If you plan on attending a four-year college or university, check each college's website to see if they require these test scores. Many colleges have adopted a test-optional policy.
-
It is advisable to consider taking each test at least once (take the ACT with the writing section; the SAT no longer offers the writing section).
-
If you are enrolled in a community college and intend to pursue your Associate's Degree, it's important to note that these tests are not mandatory.
-
If your plan involves beginning your academic journey at a community college and transferring to another institution before completing your degree, consider that you may be required to provide these test scores.
Testing Accommodations:
Please note that if your child requires testing accommodations, documentation must be submitted in advance to the College Board for the PSAT and SAT, and to ACT for the ACT exams. Please refer to the deadlines listed below.
Important Test Day Reminders:
-
Students must bring their admission ticket AND a valid form of identification with them. You will NOT be admitted without these.
-
If the test is digital, you must bring your school-provided Chromebook.
-
Mechanical pencils are NOT allowed.
-
Cell phones and any other electronic devices are NOT allowed in the testing room.
