Beth Bonin off and Running as New Redhawk Varsity Boys Basketball Coach

The Central Square athletic department is extremely excited to announce that on April 18th, 2024 the Central Square Board of Education accepted the recommendation naming Ms. Beth Bonin the new boys varsity basketball coach, effective immediately, and an elementary physical education teacher effective at the start of the 2024-25 school year.
Ms. Bonin played college basketball at Division II Queens College from 2016-2019 where she was named a team captain, first team All-ECC and second team All MBWA scoring over 1,000 career points. She finished her college career at SUNY Cortland where she was as a fourth-team All-American by the website D3hoops.com; and also recognized as the SUNYAC Player of the Year, the D3hoops.com East Region Player of the Year, and a WBCA Honorable Mention All-American.
Ms. Bonin started her coaching career at Cicero-North Syracuse as an assistant coach with the boys varsity team for three seasons where she was an instrumental piece in helping turn the Northstars around and into one of the top teams in Section 3 for the past 3 seasons.
From there, Ms. Bonin took over the women's program at Dryden High School where they made a marked improvement from the previous season. Ms. Bonin has also coached JV softball and modified football at Dryden High school.
Coach Bonin will be rounding out her staff in the upcoming weeks and looks forward to bouncing back from a difficult 2022-23 season and continuing to build the program.
