Dear Central Square Middle School families,

I am Jeffrey King, the Principal of Central Square Middle School. I have had the privilege of working with many outstanding students, parents, and staff members during my 23 years as an educator in the Central Square School District. Over the years, I have taught at both Paul V. Moore High School and Central Square Middle School, and I have also had the honor of serving as an administrator at both schools. In addition to my teaching and administrative roles, I have coached several teams, which was a rewarding experience that further connected me to our wonderful community.

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you and your children to Central Square Middle School. If you are new to our district, we extend an extra warm welcome. Thank you for entrusting your children to our care; it is both an honor and a responsibility that we take very seriously. You can rest assured that your children will be taught by exceptional teachers who genuinely care about their well-being and academic growth. In partnership with you, we are committed to challenging your children developmentally, socially, and academically, ensuring they reach their fullest potential. You may notice that school is more academically rigorous than it was when we were students, and that increased rigor reflects our unwavering goal to maximize each student's learning potential. Education is a continuous process, much like the growth and development of our children; each day brings new opportunities to learn and overcome challenges.

As Arthur Ashe wisely said, "Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome."

I truly believe that Central Square is a hidden gem of a district, offering outstanding opportunities that prepare students to become productive members of society. Our dedicated staff strives to create the best possible learning environment for all our students.
