National Honor Society:  Attention incoming National Honor Society members – just a reminder that your signed Code of Conduct and $10.00 dues need to be turned in to Mrs. Staats or Mrs. Bergman by Tuesday, October 26th.

Athletic News:  As a reminder to all athletes, you must be either in sports study hall located in the cafeteria or with a teacher between 2:50 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.  Athletes are not to be in the building unsupervised.  If you are found wandering the halls, you will be sent home on the bus prior to your practice or game.  Thank you, Mr. Grimshaw, Athletic Director.

If you are planning on trying out for Boys Hockey this year, you must come to the Athletic Office no later than tomorrow, Friday, October 22nd and let the Athletic Director know.  Thank you!

The Flock:  Attention Student Section!  Tomorrow, Friday, October 22nd is the last home football game!  The Flock theme will be USA!  Make sure to go all out with your red, white, and blue.  See you there!!  **As a reminder…please clean up after yourself after the game.

Class of 2025:  Attention Freshmen:  Your first fundraiser has started!  We are selling Save Around coupon books.  They are $25 each and can be purchased in room G008 with either cash or check made payable to “Class of 2025”.  Please check the Class of 2025 Canvas page for more information.

Career Center College Application Assistance:  Do you need help completing college applications?  Are you unsure of how to request a letter of recommendation?  If so, stop by the Career Center on Wednesdays during Advisement for “Assistance with Applications”.  This will be happening every Wednesday during the months of October and November.  A Career Center Advisor will be available to help you with any questions you may have.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Trick or Treat Drive-Boo:  Student volunteers are needed at Goettel Park, across from Reymore Chevrolet, on Halloween, October 31st.  Come in costume to hand out treats as families drive through from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.  Sign up in the Career Center for this Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, and Girl Scout sponsored event.

Career Center – Career Discussions:  We will host virtual Career Discussions in the Career Center.  Anyone interested in learning more about the many careers that exist in the following fields are welcome to attend:

            11/16/21 – Veterinary Medicine

            11/30/21 – Social Media Marketing
