Career and Technical Education Endorsement

High School Diploma Endorsement

Statistics show that 73% of high school seniors plan on attending college.  How will you set yourself apart when you have to apply?  Did you know that six of the “Top Nine Jobs for New Grads in 2006” were business related jobs and that the average pay for those jobs was $43,698?1

If you are interested in pursuing one of these hot, high paying jobs and want to set yourself apart when applying to college, you2 should consider enrolling in one of the following New York State Career and Technical Education endorsed programs offered at Paul V. Moore High School :  Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, or Marketing and Entrepreneurship.

After meeting the requirements of the program, you will receive a New York State Education Department endorsement (seal) on your Advanced Regents3 or Regents diploma.  You will be set apart from many other students as you will have achieved recognition in a challenging program that meets both academic and industry standards.  The industry assessments are nationally recognized; therefore, wherever you go in the USA , colleges and industries are familiar with the assessments and rigorous studies associated with passing the exam.  If you have any questions or are interested in enrolling in this program, see a Business Teacher or your Guidance Counselor for more information.

The links for the three programs outline the course requirements for the three programs offered.
