Accelerated Reading is a computer-based program that motivates students to read and earn recognition on our Reading Builds Character Wall. After reading an AR book, students can take a comprehension test on the computers at school. When a child achieves a certain percent, a sticker gets placed on our All Star Wall. Parents can now become involved by helping their child select books to read from our local libraries or at home. On the following pages you will find the AR book titles, authors and student levels that are currently in our library. (Participating students, mostly first and second graders, know their own levels.)
