The Scriba F & AM Masonic Lodge

The Scriba F & AM Masonic Lodge located on the corner of State Route 49 and County Route 23 has been operating out of that building since 1856.

At first they used the upstairs of the building. The downstairs housed Irving Livinston's Ice Cream Parlor, the Post Office, and Dr. Russell's office, and Beebee's Store.

After 1910, a fire destroyed the 3rd floor. Not long after that, the Masonic Lodge took over the entire building. They are an active group today.
