The Board of Education is the governing body of the school district. The Board is entrusted with the responsibility of developing policies under which the district is managed. The Board of Education shall in its discretion establish, make provisions for and enforce all rules and regulations under the Education Law, the Rules of the Board of Regents, and the Commissioner of Education for New York State. The
powers and duties of the Board are
as stated in the Education Law and other applicable New York State
