USE OF TOBACCO PRODUCTS ON SCHOOL PREMISES

Due to the health hazards associated with the use of tobacco products, and in accordance with state law and Public Health Law, the Board of Education prohibits smoking and the use of any tobacco products in all schools, school facilities, and in all district vehicles at anytime.

           The Board policy on the Use of Tobacco Products on School Premises shall be prominently posted in the district buildings and school grounds, pursuant to the law, the Board designates the Assistant Superintendent for Business and school principals as agents responsible for informing individuals they are in violation of Article 13 of the Public Health Law.
