PUBLIC USE OF DISTRICT STADIUM

The Board of Education believes that the district stadium should be available for community use, under the following conditions:

                 In accordance with applicable district policies and Education Law. The planned activity must not be inconsistent with or antithetical to the school districts purposes and mission.

        There is no direct cost to the school district.

        Priority will be given to events and activities conducted by the Central Square Central School District. Permits already granted may be withdrawn if it becomes necessary to Schedule a school-related event or activity. However, in this event every effort will be made to arrange for alternative accommodations.

The scheduling of events for the district stadium for any organization will be the responsibility of the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics.

Applications for the use of the district stadium must be filed with the Director of Health, Physical Education and Athletics at least two weeks prior to the scheduled event or activity. The completed application must include:

·       The part of the stadium being requested for use

·       The date(s) requested

·       A detailed description of the intended purpose

·       Any proposed admission charge

 The rules and regulations regarding district stadium will be accordance to Appendix A of this policy.

 

The fees to be charged for district stadium use will be in accordance to Appendix B of this policy.
