A WebQuest WebQuest
(Confused?  Read on)

  1. Introduction:
  2. For this web quest, we will pretend that you are teachers who want to know more about web quests. (This may be a stretch, but try to imagine that you are a teacher - not on vacation).

You will be working in groups of two or three. One person will be the typist, one will be the taskmaster, making sure you complete all sections of the assignment, and the third is the recorder. You may each want to take notes on your own worksheet, but at least one worksheet must be completed by each group.

  3. The task:
  4. You will be using the Internet to answer the questions on your worksheet. These questions are designed to give you a quick overview of what a web quest is and start you thinking about how you could design a web quest to be used in your classroom.

There will be a quiz at the end of the task as well as a rubric to rate yourself and the web quest you have completed.

    Happy Hunting!
