Central
Square Middle School
Career Day
October 24, 2003
![]()
CSMS Career Day has been developed as a part of the Career Development program in the Central Square School District. Activities such as these are an integral part of the Career Development Program in the Central Square School District. Other Middle School career development activities include those in the Home and Careers classes and the eighth grade Job Shadow.
Many guest speakers this year are former students of the Central Square Central School District and others are community and area residents. All are volunteers who give their time to share insights about their career with the students. Thank you to all of our guest speakers who came in to speak to our students.
All students were surveyed during the first weeks of school to identify which speakers they would like to hear. Individual schedules were created for each student in grades 6, 7, and 8 based on their surveys.
Thank you to the 60 guest speakers who volunteered their time to speak to the students and to the dedicated staff who spend many volunteer hours planning for Career Day.
Our next career day will be held the morning of October 22, 2003. Students will be completing their interest surveys this spring so they may be scheduled into breakout sessions over the summer.
