Elementary School Career Days

Students at many of our local elementary schools learn about careers without having to go to the job site, because the employees come to them.  A special day is put aside for adults visiting classrooms to describe their jobs to the students and to answer questions that the students might ask.  Many provide hands-on opportunities and items to take home to share.

Some of the careers represented in the past have included the local fire and police departments, a veterinarian,  a pilot, a Highway Superintendent, North Shore Ambulance Corps, a biologist, a nurse,  and many, many more.

Ask your Principal when your next Career Day will be held.
